Lache Park Community Centre is situated on Hawthorn Road in close proximity to the health surgery and the two primary schools. Lache Community Centre is now a directly managed Council recreational facility, employing a Full-time Centre Supervisor and a Part-time Assistant Supervisor.

The facilities available are a large main hall, with smaller hall attached which can be used independently or as an extension to the main hall; a comfortable lounge with its own licensed bar facility (available only for specific functions); an activity room, which has been adapted to house a Parent and Toddler Group (which operates in partnership with the local NCH Family Centre) but is also available for smaller group and committee meetings; a kitchen for use in association with Centre bookings; and a snooker room with a full-sized table.

The Centre is home for a range of local voluntary groups, including children's dance troupes, a Saturday morning children's club, martial arts groups, the Lache Luncheon Club, a club for elderly persons and two voluntary Bingo clubs. It is available for private hire for such functions as children's parties (with a bouncy castle), conferences, seminars, training days, small-scale indoor sports events, wedding receptions, discos, dances, etc. Local voluntary groups are entitled to a 50% reduction on room hire charges for regular bookings. A further three rooms in the Centre are leased to the Lache Community Development Project.
