Welcome to our Community
We are an inclusive organisation,formed in 2002 as the City Centre Neighbourhood Partnership A few years later we amalgamated with Newtown to form the larger group. The area we cover is roughly the same area as the political City ward. We are made up of residents and employees who live or work in the area and meet every two or three months. Our main aim is to improve the well being of all people live, work or visit this area of Chester. To this extent we identified two main problem areas, these being Community Safety and the Environment. To help overcome these problems we have drawn up an action plan for engaging with the appropriate agencies with a view to making the City a healthier and safer place to live, work and visit.
Under the new Cheshire West and Chester Council we continue to engage with the new agencies and to help us achieve this we have joined the umbrella organisation Chester Communities Together with whose support we have gained a stronger voice. If you have an issue which you wish to discuss please come along to our meetings and together we can try to solve it.
